Indigenous Consultation

Yass Valley Indigenous Consultative Committee considers and makes recommendations on Indigenous issues.

Role

To provide a forum for support, communication and understanding between the local Aboriginal community and Yass Valley Council.

Meetings

Quarterly (1st Friday) or as required.

Voting Members

Councillors Williams and McHarg, two (2) Board Members Onerwal Local Aboriginal Council, and one (1) Board Member Burunya Corporation.

Chair

Onerwal Local Aboriginal Lands Council Representative.
